Blanchfield, 20, moved to the National League side this summer from Ipswich Town but joins up with the Trawlerboys for the next month in a bid for game-time.
Manager Jamie Godbold said, "We have been working extremely hard over the last week or so to try and bring 1 or 2 in on loan to help ease our current injury situation. James will come straight into the squad and will provide us with some quality and experience. I would like to thank Peter Taylor and Dagenham & Redbridge for their cooperation in the move and believe it’s a good one for both James and Lowestoft Town."
