Barking 11-1 Lowestoft U19's
Lowestoft U19's lost 11-1 away at Barking as they continue to grow as a team.
Lowestoft started well and kept the scores down to 2-0 after 30 minutes, however, their heads dropped and at half-time it was 5-0 to the home side.
In the second half again, it was another bright start for Lowestoft as they passed the ball around well but unfortunately deflected goals took the game to an unjust score-line at 7-0. One moment of joy for the young Blues was a consolation goal scored by Cion Wren.
Tired legs allowed Barking to score four in the last 10 minutes as the game finished 11-1 to Barking.
Many more positives to take from the performance against a much stronger, older and more gelled team together.
The next match for the young Blues will be at home to Borehamwood on Wednesday at the Amber Dew Events stadium with a kick-off time at 2pm.
